Skyway Bible Institute
As the congregation continues to grow it is important that the “spiritual DNA” and theology of Pastor Greg Brown continues to be imparted to the leaders, future leaders, and congregation members of Skyway Church. The curriculum utilized in the SBI is written by Pastor Greg to equip the saints for the work of service in the 21st Century. These courses will be used during our Sunday morning discipleship training. There will be opportunities to take these courses in at 9:00am and 10:45am on Sundays. The following areas of training will be the focus of equipping through SBI.
Debt Free Living – 9:00am
Teachers- Carlton and Kerry Dasher
“Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender.” When we are in debt we are in a position of servitude to the lender. And the deeper we are in debt, the more of a servant we become. We do not have the full freedom or discretion to decide where to spend our income. We have already legally obligated ourselves to meet these debts. It is now time for restoration. Being out of debt was one of the promised rewards for obedience. “Now it shall be, if you will diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today . . . all these blessings shall come upon you . . . you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.” Deuteronomy 28:1,2,12
Curriculum used is “Tithes and Offerings” by Pastor Greg.
Join Carlton and Kerry Dasher as we begin our journey for every member of Skyway Church in eliminating the spirit of debt, lack and poverty. Debt free living is a 1 semester class and requres and enrolement application. For more information contact: trinitydebtmgmt@yahoo.com or call the church office.
How to Think Like a Christian – 9:00am
Teacher- John Strickland
Everyone has a worldview shaped by our society and experiences. In this course we will discuss what the Bible says about the ten fields that make up a worldview: theology, philosophy, ethics, biology, psychology, sociology, law, politics, economics and history. By having a Biblical worldview we will be solidly grounded in our faith and be able to talk like a Christian when challenged by skeptics. 1 Peter 3:15 says, “…Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect…”
