Membership Class
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sunday of every month

This is an entry level class for anyone who wants to become a member, who is new to the church, or who wants to learn more about Skyway. We take the time to meet the new visitors and find out about their spiritual life and how long they have been attending the church.
In the Membership Class we discuss salvation, scriptural water baptism, and Holy Spirit empowerment. We talk about Skyway’s vision statement, mission statement, core values and beliefs, and doctrinal statement. We give them an insight into our governmental structure, leadership titles and defnitions.
We also urge “every member to be a minister” by joining a ministry team. We share with them the many opportunities to put their passions into practice within the body. We are then able to help with the next step in the discipleship process by recommending available classes.
It is our desire to really get to know the new members, and give them an opportunity to know various leaders. The membership class gives new members the ability to ask question and make sure they want to partner with us as we serve God together in this family called Skyway.
