Skyway Internship Training: Leadership and Ministry Team Development
Our Vision for Skyway Internship is to equip men and women to serve the Lord and lead others from a sure foundation that is rooted deeply and founded securely in Christ’s love.
‘Have the roots (of your being) firmly and deeply planted in Him, being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith.’ Col. 2:7 (NLT)
If you are seeking to fulfill God’s calling in your life, the Skyway Internship Ministry is designed to prepare and release you into your destiny. Our training is built on Biblical principles of God’s grace to empower us to be more like Jesus in our character, convictions, and ministry contributions. We believe in the Biblical model of team work. We train our interns to lead and minister in teams. We are launching a new component to our Internship class this year, which will include a commitment to be part of a Skyway Ministry Team. ( See Intern Application for details)
Internship class is a two ( 2 ) semester training program with weekly classes and one ( 1 ) ministry trip required to receive a certificate of completion. You must fill out an Intern Registration form to enroll- you can pick this up at the Kiosk or e-mail Pastor Sherry at pastorsherry@skywaychurch.com
Training includes:
-Personal Spiritual Growth
-Developing a Biblical World View
-Learning how to Minister in the Power of the Holy Spirit
-Leadership and Team Training in an Apostolic Model
-Practical – ‘Hands On’ Application by preparing to go on one or more Ministry Trips
-When: Classes begin on August 17, 2008
